You should replace your breast pump tubing whenever it gets dirty, discolored or the ends become warped. You should never wash or sterilize breast pump tubing. Keep it dry! Spectra’s backflow protection system ensures that there is a barrier between tubing and your milk, so there should be no reason for it to get wet. If the breast pump tubing gets wet by mistake, allow it to completely dry before use.
